Grace HJ Lee studied English Education for her bachelor’s degree and graduated law school in Seoul, South Korea. She graduated with master human rights at fau back in 2017. Grace practiced law as a litigation lawyer in Korea for about three years before joining this program in Germany. She completed her Doctoral research under Professor Sieckmann at Friedrich Alexander University, Erlangen, Germany. The topic of her doctoral research is „Discrimination based on sexual orientation in the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Court of Korea: towards the prohibition of discrimination“. She currently works as the Programme Coordinator of the International Doctorate Programme: Business and Human Rights and the law lecturer in the public law faculty at fau. She is teaching proseminars of EU Anti-discrimination law, the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights, and the problem of constitutional interpretation.
