We are now accepting applications for 12 doctoral research positions in the International Doctorate Programme Business and Human Rights: Governance Challenges in a Complex World (IDP BHR Governance).
- Start Date: 1 November 2025
- Application Deadline: 1 June 2025
- Location: FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, University of Bayreuth, or University of Würzburg
- Contract: 66% position (TV-L E13), ~€3000/month (before taxes), 4-year funding
Research Areas
Applicants can choose their own research focus within Business & Human Rights, including:
- Law, management, and social sciences perspectives
- Business and human rights in corporate and legal practice
- Sustainability and climate obligations in business
- Human rights and corporate responsibility in autocratic regimes
Who Can Apply?
- Master’s degree in law, management, or social sciences
- Strong English skills & international experience preferred
- Research proposal (max. 5000 words) + required documents
